Soccer camp Part 2

We decided to do soccer camp again for Zack the 2nd half of summer. He was so nervous the first half he really didn't do a whole heck of a lot. So, this session he did a lot better. It helped that his coaches were girls.. HE LOVED them. And, then there was a little girl he loved to chase with his soccer ball vs following directions. He did much better. I was on leave for a few days so I was excited to get to watch. He is a total flirt....

Tank Photos

I took these at the end of the summer when I was trying to get photos of these cool tanks at Camp Pendleton. The lighting was off- but, I got some great photos in the meantime. Zack and the flags

Our Anniversary

So, for our anniversary this year, I told Larry pots and pans.. it's been 10 years since we bought new ones and we really need them.. he said.. okay. Then I get this present.. Yes, he got us GREAT seats to see Wicked for our anniversary. I got one of my former students who loves kids to watch Emma and Zack, and off we went. We had a great dinner and then went to the show. It was a total blast!!!

More photos of our trip to NJ

Zack and I got to enjoy a break from everyone this summer. We went to NJ for a week to stay with my mom and dad. It was grandmas time with Zack. No kids just Zack and the grandparents. He had a blast. He was great on the flight there and back, and I got to relax and enjoy my parents. It even rained a lot while we were there (my favorite part as I haven't seen or heard a good thunderstorm since Nov. of last year).Zack being a girl and not wanting to get wet in the rain to fill his super soaker Grandma bought to soak Grandpa (which he did) Grandpa showed him how to use it...
Then grandpa soaked him...I you look at him.. he is wet as well.. Zack got him first..
Swimming at the lake.. chicken little without water wings...

Cousin Quinn had hers and was big and brave!
Floating on his back.. would not put his head back for anything!

It's not deep.. REALLY!! wink* wink*
Kicking..
Aunt Rachel and Quinn making sandcastles..
Showing off! See Zack, that is how you float!! :)

Zack with cousin Quinn

Some very cute photos of the cousins. It was really the second time Zack got to hang out with Quinn. I think he wasn't sure of her at first, but then realized she was just like Emma. They had a good time playing and enjoyed their time together. He keeps asking where she is.. and yes, still says, she ate "funny" stuff (AKA Tofu).. :)

New family photos

I had to share some of these photos.. My friend from high school (wow how weird is that) his wife (Kristen.. who is amazing..) took these family photos. http://kristenbons.com/ she did an amazing job. I look 10 yrs younger (Larry is still full of grey ha ha) and the kids melt your heart. There are so many to choose from I couldn't decide! Wow! Thank you Kristen. I only hope one day I am 1/2 as good as you!
