So, this is the Please Touch Museum. (Go Phili!) It is a great place for kids to play, and my kids had an absolute blast. Can you tell what their mom does for a living? Wasn't like they had to figure it out. They knew exactly what went where and how to do it. Go kids!

Trip to Philadelphia

So, I have like a million more photos, but am working on them at this time.. lol. I wanted to try and get a few up for the family. We went to Philadelphia for a conference for work. And, while we were there, we got to visit with my sister and my family. It was great to see everyone, especially because Reilly was a lot older now and more interactive. Emma and Zack were over the moon to see Grandma/Grandpa and Aunt Kathy/Uncle Tom.. her is just a preview. I have lots more, but give me a chance.. we've been flying here and there every other week and in between and during I am working!! :)Reilly hanging at Aunt Rachel's house playing with all the "new" toys! Spring Break

So, I am way behind. This was just some of the fun we had. It was busy busy busy. The kids celebrated Palm Sunday, and then we headed to Legoland and ended our week on the beach with our great friends. Here is just a quick one to share!

Carlsbad Road Race

So, I made every newbie mistake you can make.. It was Emma's "birthday" last Saturday and I was ready.. doll house, balloons, cake, road race, carnival.. oops dead camera battery? Are you KIDDING ME?? Yep, and no back up.. sigh. So, some of these are from my phone camera. It does a pretty good job, but pixel galore! So, here is a quick snap shot of their 2nd road race. They both did great! (minus mom and the camera mess.. Ps.. yes, the cam corder battery was also dead? ) I am soo fired!

Happy 3 Years Emma!!

So, there will be an explanation next month to this.. but, we were unable to celebrate Emma's third birthday on the actual day as we were coming home from Texas. So, we celebrated on Saturday and she had no idea. But, we started with the Carlsbad road race, went to dance class, and then to the carnival! (whew we were tired) .. I also made a huge mistake with these photos. I am learning to shoot "manual" with my camera, and forgot to change some settings. A lot of these are "grainy" totally my fault. I was really mad at myself, but hey, that's what beginners do and then we learn from our mistakes right?? :) So, our great friend Mary Kay (CAPT Vann) gave us this amazing doll house. It is twice Emma's size. She is really into dolls and this was soooo cool to give her.
Emma came down from the stairs to the doll house with balloons and princess stuff everywhere.. Zack could hardly contain himself for her to "wake up"! Wild hair girl.. I swear later I did put it in bunny ears as she calls them...

I can't believe my baby is already three. Wow. I am not sure where the time has gone, but she is a treasure every mom would want. Loving, kind, generous and so sweet. She warms our heart and every day makes us thank God that he blessed us so much. Happy birthday baby. You will never know the happiness and love you have put in our hearts! - mom & dad

So, I wanted to see how this was done. I wanted to play and learn more, but my settings were a little off. I figured out what I did wrong... (a great class) see my side bar on the blog. This was what I was able to come up with and this was the "best" for now. I promise to practice all summer!

Been busy

So, we have been really busy lately. The last three weeks have been crazy and the next three weeks will be even more hectic. So, be patient with us this month as we travel down this road. I will try to keep up with photos and postings.. but it won't be a lot.. so hang in there. Day before Easter. We were at the beach for Easter Sunday, so I tried to snap a few of the kiddos

Emma's First Day

So, Emma wanted to be a princess. She was so excited to get to go to the big school with Zachary. She was so stinking cute with the back pack being 2x her size. She did great. Went in, hung up her back pack, said "C-ya mom" and she was off. Preschool 2010. What a doll baby

Day at the Beach

So, we decided to spend the weekend at the beach- we had a great time. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast!! Toby has started to loose his teeth. His front one was "pulled" before he came for Spring Break. We are calling him the toothless wonder! It's pretty funny. He also has three more that are loose. Uh oh!!

Our great friends Chris and Brooke have moved back to Cali and are now stationed at Camp Pendleton with the rest of us! They are great, and we totally love having them back!

Brooke is very, very, very special to me and my children. She was our "nanny" for both Zack and Emma. She ended up going to the west coast with her hubby to a new duty station, so it's great to have her back. She couldn't resist Reilly, and Reilly couldn't resist her. I will always be honored to call her my friend.
