Zack's school Party

It has been an amazing year volunteering in Zack's class. It is a lot of fun to read with the kids, figure out what they like to read, where they are in their reading and just to watch their eyes light up when they finally complete a reading book. Ms. Notzel is an amazing first grade teacher. Larry and I are thrilled that Zack is in her class! Zack, Emma and I had a blast at the holiday party!

 

This hat actually sang and Emma totally danced to it. Very cute, of course she saw it in Walmart after the holidays. :) NO we did not get it! (whew)

Jeez mom!!

This is why dads should take them shopping... Everything was too cute!!

My Weekend

I laughed when my husband said, I have a lot to do today. (meaning school).
I had to giggle and pour another cup of coffee (2nd for the day) and said:

1. I fed the fish
2. I fed the dogs
3. I cleaned the bird cage
4. I cleaned the fish tank and replaced their filter (20 gallons)
5. I fed the kids and got them dressed
6. I loaded the dishwasher
7. I did 2 loads of laundry already
8. I cleaned the bathroom upstairs
9. I cleaned out Reilly's drawer of all clothes that don't fit and got them bundled for
10. I vacuumed upstairs and ensured the kids toys were put away.
11. I put away the younger kids clothes and ensured the boys put theirs away
12. I cleaned up the girls room (from Sat. night sleep-athon in the girls room - trundle)
13. I got dressed and ready for the day
14. I cleaned our bathroom (the 2nd for the day) and emptied the trash
15. I cleaned downstairs bathroom and emptied that trash
16. (He did take the kids to the movies)
17. I wrapped all the Christmas presents (Please don't hate me..)
18. I got the Christmas cards ready to be shipped
19. I got dinner situated and ready
20. I emptied the trash
21. I had Zack feed the fish
22. I helped set traps for the 2 mice invading my garage (errrrr... :S )
23. I got the coffee pot ready for the morning
24. I had the kids empty the dishwasher and put away the things they couldn't
25. I cleaned up from dinner and got the kids up to bed
26. I made lunches for the kids and got my own ready
27. And now.. I have finished emails
28. Checked on facebook
29. Sent a few emails from work and did quite a bit of work after hours
30. Paid the registration fees for our trailer
31. Checked on rental homes in Virginia
32. Brushed teeth and read books... and now...

yes, I am tired. :)
