Raking leaves

Kids were very helpful.. in the end we had 32 bags of leaves.. Yes, we were tired!

Zack asked me to take this to my office and put it on my computer so I would never forget how much he loves me... I love this kid!

Apple Festival/Pumpkin Picking

 

The kids had a great time picking apples, pumpkins, and running through the hay maze. It was a great afternoon- and the weather was perfect. We missed Dad and Toby -but they were busy winning the semi-final football game!

Kids playing in the water-- I thought this is not a good idea- but no one got wet.. It was a miracle.

Wizard Of Oz

We had an amazing weekend in Beech North Carolina- I remembered this as a child and was so excited to take the kids there.  We went went to an apple orchard while Toby played in the finals of the football game. Then, we headed to the mountains. First thing in the morning we headed up. The kids were dressed up and ready to play.  It was cold and wet, but they were troopers. It was overcast and gray when we started and some light rain- but it cleared up later in the day.

 

The day ended on a high note- we had hot chocolate and cookies. It was a great time.
