The nest out front..

Recently, we duck every time we walk out our front door. Partly due to my own fault, the birds made a nest in one of my flower pots before I put the flowers in for the spring. It's up high, safe and out of the way. It's the wall mounted pot, and before I realized it, she had eggs in there already.. 3 to be exact. Out back, I have a bunch of reeds in a huge pot.. well, another mama thought that was a great place to lay her eggs.. now we have 4 babies there. She gets so mad when the kids are outside, or if I sit on the porch and swing and watch them play. She will even dive bomb Bella (who has learned to stay away from that area of the porch) I was able to take a photo today without her around, or the kids so they don't disrupt her nest. I don't want them to know they are there.. they won't survive if Zack sees them. He is to exuberant.. Maybe next year.
