Medication- child proofing or adult proofing?

So, really? This is just a box of Claritin. If you know me, and have talked to me recently, I have had some time of allergic reaction to "something". My left eye was on fire last Thursday. I wanted nothing more than to take off my eyelids and put them into ice water. Not the eyeball, but the eye lid. And thankfully, I work at a hospital with great people who hooked me up with medication. Yes, I went to the eye doctor. Yes, I threw away my make up and bought new stuff. No, it is not pink eye. To the point? you might ask. I appreciate the child proofing, and in my house that is key. However, it has really become adult proof. This took me a good 5 min to get into. (and yes, I am a woman, I followed the directions, bend at corner, etc.) My dad now cuts his with scissors and puts them into a bottle. At first, I thought he was nuts. But wow, I totally appreciate that now. WOW! Maybe that is why there are pictures of scissors on them? Because they know there is no way in heck you are going to get to this in short order. Thankfully, this is not heart medication. I would be in deep trouble if that were the case.
